A typical National Paragliding League event takes place in several stages. Pilots gather at a designated takeoff point, where they are briefed on weather conditions and flight routes. Each pilot must complete a set course, passing through several waypoints before landing at the final point. Results are based on the time and accuracy with which the course is completed.
