Hello, my name is Xirli.
The paragliding pilots guiding service is my specialty and consists of an accompaniment service, on-site briefing, weather forecast, and accommodation search.
I do not accompany schools that want to do classes in Barcelona, in order not to conflict with the local paragliding schools.
My motto is: “You’ll be flying at the very best Barcelona flying sites according to the weather forecast, with a personalize plan that suits you and your flying needs”.
In 2013 and 2014 I was the local pilot with the most hours of flying in these areas.

I’m proud to be part of the technical team of the Catalan Hike & Fly National Team, where I contribute with my expertise in local geography, weather forecasting, and flying strategy. This role allows me to offer you an even more professional, precise, and tailored guiding service in Catalonia.

You must remember that I’m a travel consultant. I don’t have an INSTRUCTOR LICENSE. That means that you will decide to fly or not depending on your criteria. I will suggest you the most secure Barcelona paragliding flying sites for your level according to the daily weather forecasts. My paragliding pilots guiding service is only for GRADUATED pilots, and for IPPI Card 3, 4 or 5. More information about IPPI Card at FAI website
The cost includes the Xirli guiding service and transportation costs.

RATES:
I will be at your disposal 24h a day.
I will not fly because you will get XC-Retreives. I will try that you can fly with other pilots, but I cannot guarantee it.

Car capacity: 4 Pilots + 4 Paragliding equipment capacity
If you are a group of more than 4 pilots, I propose an offer adapted to the number of pilots in your group.
The cost includes only the Xirli guiding service and transportation costs. It does not include your food or your hotel expenses.
Your accommodation is not included in my RATES. Which kind of accommodation do you prefer: Hostel, Camping Bungalow, AIRBNB, BOOKING, Single room, other…..? I can advise about accommodation if required.
Payment amounts and conditions:
Payment must be made in advance, using your preferred payment option.
I also offer you a GIFT-VOUCHER. You can write a personalized message in the VOUCHER.
Cancellation policy:
If weather conditions are not good enough to do the activity on the agreed day I will propose 2 options:
Otherwise, if weather conditions are good on the agreed day but you can’t do the activity after you make your payment, I will not return your payment because my team and I can’t work for any other client on the day booked by you.
Payment options, only in EUROS:
CASH PAYMENTS: There are no additional charges for cash payments.
CREDIT CARD: For payments made by credit card, an additional fee of 2% for bank commissions applies.
The commission is not refundable for order cancellations since the bank charges the processing and management expenses incurred from the moment of the transaction.

Had the best experience flying on a Cessna 172 organised by Xirli. Very accomodating and helpful. The flight lasted a whole hour as promised and we got to see the amazing coastal views of Barcelona and Sabadell. Xirli was amazing! He picked us up from our Airbnb in Barcelona and drove us around 2 hours to where we were paragliding. He explained everything very well and calmed our nerves before our paraglide. He was an amazing person, and our time with him was the highlight of our Spain trip. Highly recommend!

Great day flying tandem paragliding with a highly experienced and amiable completion pilot. As a paraglider pilot myself, I learned some tips about thermalling. Xirli was very hospitable and punctual, eager to share his own paragliding experiences and stories.
Xirli is professional, warm and accommodating. We spent two days with him, once for paragliding and once for a day along the coast. Both were excellent and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

I bought the helicopter pilot flight for my boyfriend for his birthday gift, and when he got the certificate in his birthday card, he cried from pure joy & happiness. Carles was very attentive when I messaged and made his birthday amazing. Easy pick up, drop off and overall the best thing i could of picked to do in barcelona.
